This was my entry for the Mythical Creatures Design Challenge. Dragons, griffins and the like are all very cool, but they are also very common. I decided to go for a less obvious choice, and sort of honor the area I have been living in for the past four years.

Raven is a character in many Native American cultures, especially in the Pacific Northwest and southeastern Alaska. While the stories are quite varied, Raven is often depicted as the bringer of Light to the World. The means by which he does this also varies by culture, but it often involves some kind of trickery or theft. Hence, The Light Thief.

I used !AlaskaStock's Crow 12 as a reference only.
